LEICESTER are pleased to announce Jen Crossland has now become a co-promoter of the club.
Jen is already a familiar face to supporters at the Pidcock Motorcycles Arena, Beaumont Park having previously held the role of General Manager.
Her application to become a member of British Speedway Promoters’ Ltd was accepted this week, and she joins new owner Paul Cairns and team manager Stewart Dickson as promoters.
Jen will continue her General Manager duties with Stewart also retaining overall responsibility for track preparation alongside Andy Hill.
She said: “I’ve really enjoyed working at Leicester in recent years, especially getting to know the supporters who give incredible backing to the Lions and the Lion Cubs.
“I was delighted that Paul and Stewart wanted me to take out a promoters’ licence, and it’s an exciting time for the club overall.
“There’s been a huge amount of work taking place at the stadium over the winter, we are getting geared up for the new season and we can’t wait to get started.”
